The Researcher, the Unemployed and the Entrepreneur
The lack of innovation and entrepreneurship in France is well known. Michel Godet denounces it rightly so in this short presentation. The author goes on to point out that innovation is too often taken to mean to research and development. There are nevertheless many innovative initiatives which are not the result of scientific and technological research. The most sophisticated are not necessarily the most creative.
Godet urges, therefore, that the entrepreneurship spirit be encouraged at all levels, and that all who initiate be given a chance to implement their
project.
